British-born Robert Young is a multi award-winning film and TV director with a career spanning over thirty-five years, during which time he has worked in the comedy, thriller and drama genres with some of the industry’s biggest acting talents including John Cleese, Catherine Zeta Jones, Kevin Spacey, Kevin Kline, Jamie Lee Curtis, Samantha Morton, Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie, Sam Neill, Ray Winstone, James Fox, Michael Palin, Francesca Annis, Alison Steadman, Ciaran Hinds, Bob Hoskins, Charlton Heston, Robert Wagner and Anne Archer.

Recipient of the prestigious BAFTA Alan Clarke Award for direction and services to TV, highlights in Young’s long and distinguished career include The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles for Lucas Films, Alan Bleasdale’s BAFTA-nominated GBH, Fierce Creatures, Splitting Heirs, Captain Jack, Hostage, Jeeves and Wooster, The Wimbledon Poisoner, Jane Eyre, Road to Santiago, Doomsday Gun, Inspector Lynley, The Infinite World of HG Wells, Bergerac, Minder, One Way Out which received the Nymph D’Or at Monte Carlo for Best Film, an accolade also awarded to Alive and Kicking starring Robbie Coltrane and Lenny Henry.
